Considered the “Crown Jewel” of Naperville, the Riverwalk is beautiful to behold. Running along the West Branch of the DuPage River, it features brick paths, scintillating fountains, interesting sculptures and artwork, fun recreational facilities, and splendid event venues. Locals love to take a stroll here, unwind and enjoy the gorgeous scenery.

Bring the kids for a fun exploration of exhibits and a massive aquarium at the Knoch Knolls Nature Center, or swim together at Centennial Park, which offers a large field area for beach volleyball and a skate park. Tasty BBQ abounds at Ribfest — an excellent opportunity to participate in a great cause and raise money for charity.

Beyond Naperville’s boundaries, neighboring Lisle hosts the much-anticipated Eyes to the Skies Hot Air Balloon Festival, which features thrilling balloon shows and rides, family-friendly entertainment, arts and crafts, and a large carnival, and a kids’ area. As one of the Chicagoland area’s largest summer festivals, Eyes to the Skies has been featured on the Today Show, Good Morning America, and six separate segments of CNN’s Headline News.
